MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Mr. Rikesh Nand Reddy
With 26 years in education, I have been blessed with a fulfilling journey as a teacher and leader across various schools in Fiji. Currently in my fifth year as the Principal of Korovuto College, I am passionate about shaping young minds and helping them discover their full potential — academically, socially, and morally.
My career began as an assistant teacher at LabasaSangam College, followed by leadership roles at Naiyala High School, where I served as Head of Department (Industrial Arts), Assistant Principal, and later Vice Principal. I went on to lead Maharishi Sanatan College,Wainimakutu Secondary School ,Suva Sangam College and Jai Narayan College, before finding my home at Korovuto College.
One of the highlights of my career has been leading schools to academic excellence. I was proud to guide Jai Narayan College to a 100% pass rate in the Year 13 National Certificate Exams in both 2019 and 2020, and once again achieved this milestone at Korovuto College in 2023. These results reflect the dedication of my staff, the hard work of our students, and our collective pursuit of excellence.
My Vision
My vision is to make Korovuto College a centre of academic excellence and character development, where every child is empowered to become a confident, compassionate, and capable global citizen. I want every student who walks through our gates to leave with lifelong skills and values that will guide them through life’s challenges and opportunities.
What I Believe
I believe in servant leadership — supporting, uplifting, and inspiring others to be their best. Every child can succeed when given the right tools, encouragement, and opportunities. As a principal, I strive to create a learning environment where students feel valued, teachers feel supported, and the wider community feels connected.
My Passion for Education
I am deeply passionate about transforming lives through education. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing students from humble beginnings rise above their circumstances and succeed beyond expectations. I see education as a powerful tool to break generational cycles and open new doors.

Personal Motto
I live by the words:
“Do God’s work faithfully and God shall do the rest. Service to humankind is service to God, since you and I are made in the image of God.”
- Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, meeting people, attending religious programs, guiding students, and sharing the joy of Harinaam. I strongly believe that we must not only teach — we must serve, inspire, and uplift. And thus I enjoy Saturday food distribution drives in Nadi, Ba, and Lautoka markets.
A Message from My Heart
“There are no problems in life — only situations. If you treat them as problems, you sit, cry, and sink. But if you treat them as challenges, you rise, beat them, and move on.”
It is my honour to lead Korovuto College with purpose and passion, and I remain committed to nurturing every child entrusted to our care.
